What is pH Up?
“pH” is a term used to tell how acidic (corrosive) or alkaline (scale-forming) a given sample of water is.

The pH scale ranges from 1 to 14.  A pH of 7 is neutral.  The ideal pH range for pools is 7.4 to 7.6.

If the pH is too low, bathers can experience eye irritation, and pool/spa surfaces and equipment can corrode.

Using pH Up raises the pH to the appropriate levels.

When do I add pH Up?
Test the pool water with a reliable test kit.  Add pH Up if the pH range is below 7.4.

Read the directions on the back of the container.  Add the recommended dosage for your size pool.

When can I use the pool?
The pool is safe to use immediately.
