Specifications

Types of Chlorine
FREE AVAILABLE CHLORINE (FAC)
Hypochlorous Acid/Hypochlorite Ion which is already in your pool, ready to destroy any new bacteria or organics. Proper levels of FAC assure proper protection for the swimmer.

COMBINED AVAILABLE CHLORINE (CAC)
When free chlorine reacts with organic material chloramines are created (combined chlorine). This results in eye burn and strong chlorine odor.

TOTAL AVAILABLE CHLORINE (TAC)
The sum of the other two residuals.

Dosage Rates
Broadcast 40 g per 10,000 L of pool water over the pool’s surface daily or as needed to maintain a chlorine residual of 1.0 ppm to 3.0 ppm.

When do I use Stabilized Chlorine?
It should be added on a regular basis, as well as during initial fill, to maintain a proper chlorine residual of 1.0 ppm to 3.0 ppm.

It is not recommended as a shock treatment.
